The York Clinic provides expert training for the British Menopause Society (BMS) Advanced Certificate in the Principles and Practice of Menopause Care. We understand the high demand for this qualification and are committed to delivering high-quality, personalised training. To ensure the best learning experience, we limit the number of trainees we support at any given time.
Please note that although most training and supervision can be delivered online, some in-person assessment is needed. You therefore need to be within a reasonable distance of York though we are happy to discuss this.
Our training is designed for experienced clinicians already providing menopause care. To be eligible, applicants must:
Up to 16 hours of clinical supervision and menopause clinic debriefing (1 hour per week or equivalent, delivered online with flexible scheduling).
Three two-hour tutorials covering key aspects of menopause care.
Ongoing clinical advice and support throughout training, including governance for complex cases.
Assessment administration completed by your tutor.
Optional in-person support within York and surrounding areas (additional travel costs apply for further locations).
